Hi I was given a JXD661 MP4 player for christmas which was purchased in India by a friend. I used the player untill the battery ran out. I have charged it for over eight hours and it does not appear to come on. Unfortunately you can not charge it through your computer. It just seem dead now and I wish someone can inform me how I can fix it. I have also sent the manufaturer a email about the problem but no reply.

I'm having the same problem. I was told to replace it with an iPod battery.. as the battery for jxd 661 is not available in the Indian Market..
Please let me know how you have fixed your battery problem ?
I had also purchased this in India.

try to replace the charger if you can or change the batter for just 250 bucks
