mine is locked up only displays main creative logo even if battery is removed then replaced I drained it as well then tried to hook up to pc then it made clicking noise that it normally makes when touchpad is in use but stii locked up when power was turned on after it got charged for a while. any ways is there another way to reset? like my run on sentence?model # dap md0007 zen microphoto 8gb

I have trouble with my creative model no md0007. When I try to turn on the device it automatically turns off. Is it due to the system crash? How can i fix it? Is there any firmware that I can update?

I am having a similar problem with my one. There is a screen that allows you to format, load firmware, reboot and clean. None of these options would work in my case but it might be worth your while trying. Be wary about the reload firmware option because if you can't connect to a pc you will be unable to reload the firmware. To get this menu, take out the battery, and while holding the switch in the on position put the battery back in.
