Jaguar 28 Boiler?

I have a problem with the central heating on my boiler - Jaguar 28. The hot water runs fine but nothing happens when the CH should run. All the while it has not displayed any of the Jaguar fault message codes.

I have switched off and re-started the boiler - it goes through the usual procedure and then goes silent. CH doesn't work but DHW does.

The radiators all have TRVs except one in the "drying cupboard" next to the boiler cupboard which hasn't. It is permanently open for drying purposes and as a "by-pass" radiator.

As far as I can work out the pump does not appear jammed and there is plenty of water in the system.

Any suggestions welcomed

Thanks Perry525,

I have checked the pump and it appears to be turning okay. There is no room thermostat - all radiators have TRVs. Still no joy.

First of all take off the front of the pump and putting a large screwdriver in the slot check that it spins.

Use a neon tester to see if you have power at the room thermostat and that the contact is making OK, ie: power out when on.
Check for power at the pump, is it getting through.
