I had a problem with my player when I tried to add some tracks. Basically it killed it! After some searching around I found this solution on CNET forums from a chap called Fabio in Brazil. Follow the instructions, download the firmware and put it onto your player and it will be better than when you bought it - you'll be able to have more choice as to what tracks you listen to at least! Give it a go - it worked for me:

Hi I have the same Matsui 120Mr and had the same problems. I've just sort it out by using the correct tool http://rs211.rapidshare.com/files/47672273/120MR_firmware.zip and click free...download it and then:
First... extract all the files and execute "stupdater app" and then plug Matsui 120MR. The software will find you mp3Player...
Second... click start... It will ask you to format it, so save your songs in your computer before starting this....
that's it... when it finished you will have your Mp3player back to life! Put your songs again. On some occasions it may be necessary to put the mp3 player into 'recovery mode'. To do this, press and hold the play button before plugging it in. Then, whilst continuing to hold the play button, plug it in to the USB, and keep holding play for 10 seconds. Even if the thing seems completely dead, you may be surprised to see that doing this causes windows to recognise it as a new type of device. Despite treating my players very badly over the years I have been unable to brick them and recovery mode always seems to work.
If it still doesn't work, try it again! I'm convinced it will eventually work for you.
If you have problems downloading it I have the software here...just ask me!

My Player is much better now...I don't need to press >> 25 times to jump to the 25° song...the option to choose the songs is working for the first time! I'm very happy!!!!!!

Fabio, Brazil!
