how can i fix a potterton netaheat profile lpg 80e?

it will not light up . electric is on plus pump works but no pilot light or spark, cannot press reset button, have tried usual things ie thermo knob set to 0 main switch on main elec supply ensure electronic programme lights and timer control on, room temps are on at high setting still no joy !HELP!

never use wd40 on any mechanical parts - instead use something silicon or lithium based, wd40 will dry up grease and oil, as written on the side of the can. never spray wd40 on bearings or chains for that matter; unless you are looking to destroy them.

it could be your fan is not working, if it has seized then you will more than likely find that if you feel the top of the boiler it will feel warmer than the bottom, if it is this you could try turning the power off and spraying the top and bottom of the spindle with WD40 and see if that free's it.
