Door has stuck on my Diplomat ADP8112 Dushwasher?

The door on my Diplomat ADP8112 intergrated dishwasher canot be opened and only moves about 1" before becoming stuck. This after appearing to have finished its wash programme.

Any suggestions please.

Hope this isn't too late but the same happened on my 8221 which I'm assuming has the same lock. If you ring the Service helpline DON'T TAKE THEIR ADVICE. They told me to use a crowbar to break the lock and then get a new one. Yeh, right! You need to get out from under the worktop!! I dropped the feet to lower it and hacksawed through the screws - a long job. Then you need to get rid of that plate. if your door opens 1" you should be able to get a small flat balded screwdriver in to get at one of the crosshead screws. get one out and the plate will rotate out of the way. This gives you access to the lock. Use a largish flat screwdriver to push the locking mechanism backinto the door. one of the plastic lugs holding the lock in place had broken on mine so the whole lock mechanism was moving with the door! Once you've got the door open remove all the small 'Torx' screws (but make sure you've diconnected from the mains because it's live behind here) and the door will drop off. If the lug has broken them put a self-tapping screw in between the lugs on the actual lock because the door front is plastic. Use a long screw and it will go into the wooden door and hold it even better. Good luck - let me know how you get on - you never know we could be friends for life!! dl.bailey@ntlworld.com
