xbox 360 chipped is not the same, nor is given the same functionality as an xbox 180 chipped. for example, the ability to backup your purchased games to the installed hard drive is a handy feature of a modded xbox 180. unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, no technology exists to provide this feature for the xbox 360.
there seem to be some technical difficulties with implementations of new security lockout features on the dvd drive. hardware level causes them to be quite, annoying.
