Over last few days, quality of picture has been gradually deteriorating, getting more blue, until now virtually impossible to watch. HAve tried changin colour & setup settings, but to no avail. Now can't even make these out. Is this repairable? Tv 4 yrs old.

i have a ferguson portable dvd player everything works fine except the screen picture has turned negative by that i mean like a photo negative with a orange tint can anyone tell me if this is repairable or throw away please thanks steve

Sounds like it could be either the chroma circuitry or the blue o/p or driver transistors (usual situated on the CRT base ). Also could be dry joint on the CRT base or failing that, a faulty tube... repairable as long as its not a shorted cathode inside the neck of the tube, in which case it would be Beyond repair....
