how can i fix my cannon mv630i digital video camera?

i get no images when i turn the camera on in camera mode it looks like the the lense cover is still on. any ideas welcome

I've had a similar problem with my Canon MV 630i. The problem is that the shutter is stuck. Apparently, you'll have to send it for repairs by a professional, but I'm going to continue searching for info to see if I can do it myself. Good luck to you.
