AH TO LOVE MICROSOFT!!! Somehow the laptop was shutdown accidentally thats why you get the message. Let it startup then select "safe mode" if it starts in safe mode then shut it down and KEEP restarting it in the "FIX WIndows" mode it doesn't "FIX" itself all in one step it may take "MANY" attempts to get it to recognize all of the problems. Don't get upset. Just keep restarting it if it doesn't "FIX" itself in about 15 attempts then start it in safe mode Make the startup disks and the recovery disk use them to bootup to a normal state and then You should run 3 programs after you get it going properly. They are free on the 'net. (1st) ad-aware,(2nd) spysweeper, (3rd) defender pro download them and then run them in that sequence to TOTALLY remove all spyware on your system I also recomment Zonealarm firewall (FREE) and AVG anti-virus from grisoft also (free).
