Ferroli hawk 2 air pressure switch fault?

The air pressure switch on my combi is faulty . Is a similar air pressure switch from another ferroli boiler similar. They look very much the same with identical pipe connections and with similar electrical connections. So the simple question is, is an air pressure switch just an air pressure switch?.

Thanks for your quick reply. The original switch has 3 spade connectors (live /neutral/earth). The other switch has also 3 spades but was connected by only two wires (live and neutral). If i do fit the switch and the switch did not operate properly would there be any damage done to the combi.

yes and no, for bigger boilers the sitch is rated higher, ie. needs a high air flow to switch, but in essence they are all the same other than that (there is 2 wire and 3 wire switches)

check your manual part number against the other one you have
