Washing Dryer drum not turning?

On our Servis Washer/Dryer M9309 the dial was manually turned by hand one click before that stage had completed.
Since then the drum does not turn at all during any cycles.
Everything else operates normally - such as water fills and drains, etc.

This problem had happened once before but somehow the it went away!

But this time it refuses to go away. Does anyone have any advise?

Thank you for your advice.

I've opened it up and had a good look around. The belt is OK but I cannot seem to locate the brushes. I know that in general the brushes have a carbon cube attached to a spring. But could Servis use different components or am I just not looking in the right place?

turning the dial by hand shouldnt cause any problems. the chance is the belt has snapped or come off, or most likely the brushes have worn out.especially since you said it happened before and went away.I would say the brushes need replacing.
