I have downloaded free fonts but I cannot open the files as it says they have to be uncompressed by winzip. I have not got winzip on my computer, what is it and how do I get it on my computer
Would appreciate any help, new to computers

By the way... upgrade to Win98 SE and then google Windows 98 SE Service pack 2. It is an unofficial upgrade to the basic Win98 SE gig.
Also, download Spybot Search and destry, AdAware SE from Lavasoft, Zone Labs Zone Alarm and if you do not have an ativirus prog, AVGFree. You might need to Google them.(Did you know that Google can be used as a verb?).

WinZip is a program which is used to compress files. (No data is lost, but the files don't use up as much disk space.)

One example of when you might compress some files would be if you wanted to email some photos to a friend. Sending lots of good quality photos in one email might cause the email to be rejected, because too many large files are attached.
