my hotpoint washer dryer ultima is saying the following E30 any ideas what it could be?

Sometimes they seem to get themselves in a knot. If you switch it off and unplug it and leave it for a minute then plug it in and switch it on again it should be ok. It is important to actually cut the power completely not just switch it off.

I had the same error message on mine and this worked.
