slow start up home xp?

my pc takes along time to start up how can i speed it up

if your computer is an older model and you have a lot of programs in it you may not be able to do anything to speed it up. if it is a newer model you can have a computer tech install more memory in it. but be aware that it you have more memory installed into your computer it could do more damage than good. you see the more memory you have in your computer the more power it will need to run on. just one of the small things we have to deal with if we want to have more speed. Hope this is helpful to you:

Ensure that you have at least 512Mbytes of RAM (Memory) for WinXP. Defragment your Hard Drive.
