230v to 110v via in-circuit transformer?

I want to put a 110v circuit in my garage currently all sockets are 13amp but am getting brought over from America two tools that are 110v what Installation is needed. Yes I know it will have to be tested and certified after.

existing 230v is protecte by MCB wickes fuse box.
Many thanks in anticipation.

simplest solution would be a standard site transformer.availiable from screwfix, machine mart etc.plugs into existing mains and you can either change US plugs to din standard or have US outlets.Has the advantage of being tested and removable.Have one myself set up for 110 tools.Three outlets at back of bench.Make sure tranny is rated to maximum tool wattage.
