How to you clean sludge from a Protherm 80e Combi?

I have a Protherm 80e Combi. The heating cuts out when it hit's a certain temp. I don't get an error message. After a while the boiler automatically comes on again but cuts out when it reaches the same temp. I have replaced the CH Thermistor but that made no difference. Hot water is working fine. I guessing it's overheating due to sludge. I could add an inhibitor but don't know how to get it into the boiler. Anyone got any suggestions????

If you do ,do this yourself remember to use a cleanser first then use the inhibitor after.

Do the bottom of your downstair rads never get warm?
Try and take a little water out from of a downstair rad, don't use the blead valve, take it from the rad valve. If you do have sludge, them the water will be black. You can then pay to have it flushed, or do it the all fashioned way, remove a rad at a time, take them in the back garden, and use a garden hose or better still a jet wash the wash out the rads, can will also need a rubber hammer to wack the bottom of the rads while washing them. After all have been cleaned out (which will take at least a full day) fit a Magnaclean....cost £120.
