Flashing RED LED on Thomsons DT163000?

The front LED is flashing constantly, with no other life from the digital receiver.

Unplug the mains lead from the back left till the box goes silent. Reconnect the mains lead and leave the machine to go through its boot up process (a few minutes of flashing lights) until it's back to a single steady led again.
