switch the tv off then on. Hold the music key for 5-10sec. It will definitely unlock. I just did it now.

Oh my gosh, I'm so amazed and excited!! I live in Cape Town, South Africa and my elderly mom has a Rinex TV which, the other day had the 'lock' feature show up in the top righthand corner of the TV screen and the picture went off, and we just COULDN'T sort it out. My mom doesn't have the booklet that came with the TV set any more either. Then a few minutes ago my husband cleverly thought of Google and asked me to onto the site and try and find some help for Rinex TV's, and lo and behold, I found "Chakropani's" advice he gave to someone with the same problem.

Switch off the TV. Switch it on. Hold the Music Key on the remote for 5 to 10 seconds pointing towards TV. I had a similar problem and Mr.Solly of Game advised me and it worked.

Hi,
Switched ours back on, pressed the "F" button on the remote and then held down the "M" or "Mute" button. Flippin frustrating so i hope this helps!
