My Diplomat ADP 8221 (8112?) won't start & has 2 right hand lights flashing?

I set the machine. It makes the usual starting noises and then stops before any water comes in. Either the 2 right hand lights flash or the 2 outside lights come on. A water engineer recently turned off the stop cock in the house and the dishwasher hasn't worked since then but the washing machine is OK. I inherited this machine and it must be about 8 years old now so I am reluctant to incur repair costs. Is this a simple (cheap) fault to fix?

Hi Flynn, try the reset of the pcb.
Turn the power button off. Turn the power button on and WITHIN 3 seconds press the P button 4 times. The left and right end lights should come on.If not keep trying. Turn the power off and then on again.
With the 2 right lights on,it is aborting the programme.Does the pump make the correct noise at the start.Possibly stuck if silent.Make sure that the dishwasher isolation tap (usually blue) under the sink is on.The plumber may have turned it off.All the best.
