Our picture does not freeze, but we are unable to use the remote or machine functions to change the channel or even turn the box off. The only way we can operate it by turning it off at the mains plug, then it works until we try to change channel or turn off. This seems to occur everytime we use Freesat.
The box is less than a week old. Any ideas

That still does not make your Freesat box into a DTT (Freeview) box.

Thanks for the reply, we have a new HD tv with freeview and our Foxsat box is connected to our satellite dish to receive HD

Take it back and get a refund.

BTW is isn't a DTT receiver, its a satellite receiver.
