boiler problems?

the boiler is not firing up the fan starts then stops after a few seconds gas valve seems ok no heating or hot water cud it be the fan

im with peccavi, look between the fan runs and pilot light lights.

if you get fan running but no ignition clicking, the first place you start looking is to air pressure switch, hoses and venturi/connections to fan.

rule the above out before going any further.

fans tend to burn out/sieze, can run too slow if struggling but generally they just sieze and burn out and fail to work at all.

Call for heat - Fan runs - Pressure switch detects fan OK - Pilot light lights - Flame failure detects pilot OK - Main gas valve opens.

Anyway - that's how I think boilers work....

Your fan is running so it's probably not that.

try resetting the boiler first, if not then the pump might be stuck, what make is it
