Switched on Stereo yesterday and went to put a CD in but the shelf thingy would not go back, it seemed to jam. The shelf thingy comes out OK but just won't go back, hence it cannot read CD. Do you have any idea what is wrong please.

same thing has just happened to us!!! thinks its not worth repairing as i guess its a fault with an electrical component rather than something mechanical...it wouldn't supprise me if its been programmed to do this after a certain amount of time or use!
