How can I repair my daughters desktop?

I dont know what she did to her desk top, but it now displays the words NTLDR missing, we have a blank screen.
We do not have any software.

If the BIOS is set to read from drive A first, that can also cause the same problem.

Make sure there is no floppy disk in drive A when you turn it on.
