Mending jammed disc drive Apple imac?

My son introduced some sellotape on a disc. Now the disc is stuck in the disc drive of our 2007ish Imac desktop. Any suggestions for getting it out, taking apart etc ? Thanks

The drive should have a small hole in the front. With power OFF, carefully insert a paperclip into the hole and push. The drive should open.
