A couple of months ago I had a simular problem with my Maytag, It just didn't drain the water. My first thought was to replace the water pump. So I called a professional repair man to fix it since I couldn't. I had already bought a water punp online which made the cost a lot cheaper.Ater I saw how he did it I said I will never call him again. 1st disconnect the power, after opening the front, place towels to help stop the water from getting all over the floor(2-3 bth twls).locate the water pump (bottom right)losen the hose to remove it. water pump should come right out replace with new pump and reconnect the power should be ready to use immediately.
