My mini disc recorder does not record. It goes through the motion of recording and I follow the instructions. But when I have finished recording and want to play it, it shows blank disc.

It sounds like the 'overlight' head is damaged or bent away from the mech.This happens when a disc has been forced in or somthing heavy has been placed on top of the unit.Its not a repair you can do yourself.If the 'head' is damaged it will need replacing.They don't come cheap!But if its just bent it should be repairable........Good luck........Gordon

Could be the record is activated but paused and requires a second press on record to release pause mode.
