I have a Sony Trinitron Telly and since yesterday the TV itself is OK but when plugging in a digi box to it a sign comes up on the top left saying AV1 (or AV2 according to which connection I use at the back) with a square box and an arrow showing right. It will not disappear. Any ideas please.

If U R using a Sky Remote to operate your system, press "TV" on the Sky Remote and then press the info buton "i". This may help.

hello julie, does your remote control have a button with a tv screen symbol on it as this usually clears any on screen display. also in the menu settings on the tv there may be a setting called onscreen display or osd try disabling a feature or option in osd and this may fix your problem. i hope this helps. good luck
