How do I delete only ONE frozen recording, without it wiping out the whole lot.

We have a thomson Digibox and it is just on a year old now. We have trouble with it freezing and also it records 291hours! of a programme (i have taken to deleting the 'corrupt' programmes and missing out on what I've recorded) Very frustrating and seems like it is a common fault. I wish I had taken it back before now but didn't want to lose the programmes I had recorded but not got around to watching!

the box was set to record a one hour show and had 21hrs left on the time space available. when i went to view it had used the entire capacity and froze the whole system. will try using code to see if it fixes problem. this is second box, as first was returned within 2 mths of purchase. Had simular problems with sky boxes

Hi Richard we had the same problem as you with our Thompson box and rang there help line and ws told to go to the help menue and punch in 1397 and was able to delete the frozen programme. You could try that to see if it works for you or if it doesn't call the help line the number is 08444 159 159.

Hope you get it fixed ok but it did seem odd to me that we have both had the same kind of problem with the same make of digibox hey. the engineer said the programme that was recorded was corrupt on ours.
