hi on saturday my greenstar 24i started to sound odd ?

it is approx 2 years old , started to run a bath, went back and water was cold.

The boiler was making sounds as if it was boiling with lots of rumble coming from it.
the reset light was on and the blue light was flashing every 1-2 seconds. if i pressed the reset button it would start and then shut back down within seconds. After removing the outer cover the top of the boiler was found furred up and the AUTOMATIC AIR VENT was also furred up, there has been some drips under the boiler, can anyone help on this ?

Was this during the icey weather? If so your condensate could of frozen, hence no where for the waste water to go and boils in the boiler.
