how does one reignite the pilot light,,,the knob has a pilot light symbol but doesnt ignite when pressed down

You have to press that button down and lift the circular flap putting a lit taper to the pilot.Once it lights you have to hold the button in for 30 secs.If it goes out again after that the t/couple will need replacing.
