I have a water leak from the front of the drum by the part that looks like black foam. At the same time of the water leak starting the machine also stopped draining water. I removed the rubber hose from the bottom of the drum to the pump and it was full of strips of grey plastic & a 2 Pence coin. I replaced the rubber hose and curred the draining problem but i still have the leak. I dont know if the plastic strips are related to the leak but I am wondering if the 2 pence piece has damaged the drum ie trapped between inner and outer drum removing the plastic or could it just be a seal somewhere. The Washing machine is only three years old. I am quite handy with my tools is it easy to get the drum out for closer inspection.
