I have Dell Inspiron 1520 and previously had vista, computer was crashing so friend offered to restore,he instead added xp and not vista as previously, all worked ok.I have since reinstalled Vista as i preferred it but now there is no internet available through my wireless, other laptops in the house work so not the internet, but my laptop will not connect, says no network connection. Also when playin games says no game card available, when there previously was one.

How do i reinstall the cards if i have no discs for it, the only discs i got where the OS,Microsoft discs and Dell Media disc. I have looked for available networks and there are none and no wireless symbol.
Thanks.

Your wireless card may be able to "see" several networks - you need to tell it which one you wish to connect to.

Use Control Panel to navigate to NETWORK connections - If you see a logo for a wireless connection the system recognises the wireless card. Right click on the wireless logo and select View Available Wireless Connections.

Select the one you want (yours not a neighbours) and turn it on.

Good luck...
