Lock out after service on Worcester Bosch 20/25?

Can anyone help - just had my fully functioning Worcester Bosch 20/25 boiler serviced. The engineer replaced the oil pump because he was concerned the fire up and timing was such that oil was pooling in the boiler as it started to pump kerosene just before ignition. The boiler started to lock out but I noticed the new pump, whilst same make had a different part number.
Engineer came back and admitted the original solonoid was on, not the new one that came with the pump that I had paid for. He then smashed the old original solonoid on the ground to demonstrate to me that they cannot break! Mmmm....
The boiler is locking out still.
The part replaced was Danfoss Type BFP 11L3 No 071N0142 and it now is BFP 21 L3 071N0156.
Any ideas?
Troubled Of Northumberland, March 2009
The 2 of 21 means with front regulation, cartridge filter
the 1 of 21 means with normally closed solenoid valve
The 1 of 11 means side regulation, ring filter

The performance of the pumps is the same, just different layout..........
