How can you fix the erase-protection tab from a vcr tape that a been taken off. can you fix the erase-protection tab on a store bought movie on a vcr tape to record it to a dvd disc?
Put a bit of folded card in the hole then tape over the hole. If you dont eventually the tape over the hole slackens, under pressure rom the detector switch and the cassette wont record intermittantly.

removing the tab makes it impossible to record on that tape, putting i bit of tape over the hole makes it possible again.
