How can I get my camera to switch on, I was using it, switched it off the ten minuets later it would not swith on the battery is ok I put in another battery still no joy I can plug in the charger and it will charge, the red light comes on while charging.
I have phoned the help line no response.

quite a lot of cameras have a switch triggered by the battery door closing ( dont switch on if battery door is open ) the switch is triggered by a small protusion on the batt door cover
As it was expensive to fix professionally i got mine working by gently inserting a small piece of plastic where the missing trigger piece should have been and closed the door on it ( trial and error )
