My WINDOWS XP media player 's shortcut appears on the bottom system toolbar but does not open. I hear the audio of the clip but can't see the video.
I have uninstalled and installed it again (add and remove windows components) but no luck.

Any ideas?

see if you can try to intall the newer updates of flash,java and all that, is all i can sugest
