ho do i fix my mp3 player?

i have a siren mp3 player. it has a 512 mb memory. when i turn it on, the siren start up screen comes up but instaed of going to the song, a mesge comes up saying, "incorect format, re format mp3 player. how do i reformat a my mp3 player?

Put the mp3 player into the usb port of the computer.
Goto to "Start" then "My Computer" then find the name of your mp3 player.I.E "SIREN MP3" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
Right click on the mp3 player icon and select "Format".
You will get a message saying "Formating this disk will erase all data,Continue?" Then press yes.Thats it. hope this helps
