we have lost the key to our front upvc door, the door is unlocked, but i can not get the barrel out, how do i do this.

never mid drilling remove both handles unscrew screw which hold it in get two vicegrips and closeon each side of the barrell pull the vice grips towards youtill the barrell not much force required and then where the barel was there should be a black ring with a knob sticking out remove this with a screwdriver put new barrell in ta dda

there is a screw on the side of the door that holds the barrel in place but you need to drill out the old barrell as is is also held in place by a lug inside the barrell.
