Ring of Death is 3 rings, so dont worry.
If what other people have suggested doesnt work, contact Microsoft for more information. Put of sending it to repair for as long as possible, because Microsoft are unreliable when it comes to XBOX and the proces are scandalous!!!

Well, the "ring of death" is considerably the three red lights as most people that have an Xbox 360 have encountered the problem. The four red lights is normally an indication that you Av cables are loose or they are not correctly inputed. Check the cables and if the issue seems to persist then u can call the Xbox customer support line. Also, this issue isn't a free repair so you'll be spending around $120 to pay for it. So lets hope for the best.

just before you do contact microsoft, just make sure the AV cable is correctly and securely connected.. it may just be the AV cable... if it still doesnt work then get onto microsoft.

i had the same problem.... its known as the red ring of death.. basically means the xbox is dead. get onto microsoft and explain the problem as they are repairing the machines free of charge because it is a manufacturing fault. you will need the serial number and the manufacture date of the console (located on the back, near the power lead), then call xbox helpline.
