power washer switch needs to be rewired?

I hav e a double pole rocker switch on my campbell hausfeld 1750 psi washer. I have the black lead and the white common from the wall. There appears to be a coil in the lead loop. it has two white wires coming off of it. one connects to a red wire leading back to a plug that sends two red wires to the switch, one of which goes from the switch to the motor. the other white from the 'coil' goes to a black wire that leads down to the motor. a white common comes up from the motor. my question is, black from wall to position 1 then the two reds to position 2, then the common from the wall in position 3, below the black lead from the wall, and the white from the motor to position 4 below the two reds tied together. IS THIS CORRECT? hehe sorry to shout but am getting tired. please help me with the correct way to wire this sucker, thanks for your help.

Steve,
If you are worried enough to ask the question, you really should be handing it to a competant person. Preferably after you have found a diagram.
