i have a samsung nv3 camera. i pressed format on my menu button and its deleted all 150 pictures i had taken on there.. how do i retrieve them?

google...image rescue 3
download..click save to documents.
then click on it to load program.
this should put a shortcut on desktop.
click this to run program with memory card connected to pc.
card reader is best way to do this.
NOW THE BUT....as you have formatted card this could be clean so you may not find anything.

i have installed and tested it and it is legit (no spyware i could see) it does need a little technical know how but shouldn't be to hard to figure out, if you are unsure how to use it post here again and I will give you my e-mail and show you through it ! ) do be careful because you can make things messy if you recover stuff on your main hard drive and not the memory card. Let me know how you get on ! )

Hi Jason, you need to use an appliction to scan the SD Cards contents manualy you may need to use an sd card reader to do this instead of through the Cams usb cable ,(with a Hex Editor) often when a file is deleted it is only its location information that is deleted and not the file itself so you can recover it, i am not 100% certain this is true with SD cards so let me look into it and what ever you do don't use the card until you have tried to recover the pictures as you may overwrite them. I will try to help you before the weekend is over (26/7/09)
