Using 4 20W 50mm dichroic bulbs.
Replace bulbs in the past no problem.
This time one bulb failed followed a couple of days later by another one.
Replaced both but only one fitting now works.
Tried a few bulbs in the dead one to no avail.

Then you have a connection problem I guess.

I was forever fiddling with failing downlights in my kitchen until two years ago I replaced them all with miniature mains neons at £8 each - since then no failures - instant light - less heat and less power.

Bite the bullitt - throw them all away - the greatest payback will be more time to yourself
