How can I reignite my Ideal Classic FF280 boiler?

My Ideal Classic FF280 boiler is not igniting/firing up. Was told it was probably the pressure and given instructions on how to rectify but I can't see the pressure guage - is it behind the casing?

It hasnt got a pressure gauge. First check the overheat stat reset button, behind drop down door on right hand side, normally red push button. Failing that check operation of the fan does it run has it got power, need more information?
