I have a Waltham wall clock. It is a 3l day clock that chimes. Recently when I wound the clock the chimes would not stop ringing. It continues to chime while I am winding it. It seems like the there may be a spring that needs replacing. This is only a guess on my part. Can someone help me with this? This clock is approximately 25 years old.

I have a German wall clock that continued to chime because a small pin that stops the chimming broke. I had a clockmaker repair it.
