the lens is stuck out when i try to turn on the camera it beeps then turns off again is there anything i can do to reset the camera

Hi you find that some of the teeth from the plastic cogs on the len /focus mechanism are probably broken off and jamming it, preventing it from opening or shuting, hence the beeping error. They look easy to replace but can't find anywhere myself who sell the spares!
