My Hitatchi FX950E Video Recorder (I know old technology) has suddenly stopped working correctly and I really do not know why. I insert a cassette and it imediately goes into REW turns the tape in 3 attempts then stops and ejects the tape before shutting down. I have tried unplugging from the mains in an attempt to discharge any static but no good, I have disconnected all leads except the power supply as well, any help out there?
