Keston C40 stopped Heating?

The heating failed to come on and I found a E 29 error code which went away on pressing reset. However the heating has not come on. When reset is pressed it shows u 1.2 before reverting to 0 18. Any ideas?

I paid £150 reconditioned (+fitting I forgot how much) 2 years ago and now its gone again. Its not worth it just replace the whole boiler.

I have a C40 Keston newly fitted in 2004, terrible kit, 3 fans replaced in less than three years, countless error messages, poor service regime.

As condensing boilers you spend far more fiing in than the gas you save, condensing boilers are a con in total life costing terms.

I have nothing good to say for Keston.

I have exactly same problem , presed reset got it going again by upping mains water,ran for a day then same problem E29 then U1.2 its finally stopped.
