Have XP discs - Can I use them to replace Vista?

Cannot describe the hatred I have for vista. I have my original XP discs. Would it be very difficult to put over Vista?

I despise Vista [Home Edition]; have since the first time I used it over 18 mos ago. It makes me feel as if the Gestapo is over my shoulder constantly.

Any advice about using my XP discs to replace Vista? That would be a dream come true. Would never ask for anything again. (Well, maybe once or twice.)

ANY help would be very appreciated. On bended knees, am requesting advice or suggestions.

Thank whoever is out there and has had experience with this.
