normally the best method of opening is to relieve the door of all presure from any source i.e. make sure the door is not twisted or there is nothing jammed in the opening after doing this your lock should turn, if your lock does not turn, good chance its the lock thats brocken, take a 5 mil drill and drill it out, drill point at the top of keyhole.then turn the lock with a screwdriver. if this does not work or is not the problem, remove the door and frame by removing facings and cutting through the doorframe to wall ties then dismantle the door and frame , this method sounds extreme but unless you are a locksmith its sometimes the easiest should take about 6 hours for a able handy person to take apart and reassemble,,,good luck
